Programme Structure
For students admitted during the academic year 2004-2005 the Structure of the Degree Programme is as follows:
At the undergraduate level a student must necessarily complete a minimum of 124 credits for a Bachelor's degree. To qualify for the degree in 3 years a student is required to earn an average of 20 credits per semester. Students are expected to register for a minimum of 15 credits per semester.

The foundation and general elective courses are basic courses. Major and Allied courses are categorised as Core and
Optional. (Major-Core, Allied-Core; Major-Optional, Allied-Optional.) Optional courses are subjects offered by departments for students of their own and related departments. In addition to the core courses a student should take foundation courses, optional courses and courses under Part IV(a-d) and Part V(a) to obtain a minimum number of 124 credits.
