Established in 1985 the department offers several job oriented courses as well as courses that permit vertical mobility. Due to the increasing demand for the B.Com Degree Programme the college began two more sections under the self-financing mode in 1993 and 1998. The students of the department also effectively manage the Cooperative Stores in the College and gain practical experience in the maintenance of accounts.
