The structure of the program would feature a media curtain raiser that
would precede the ambient inaugural session with the
keynote address to be delivered by a former distinguished diplomat. The
inaugural session would be followed by two technical sessions that would
explore the vicissitudes of contemporary International Studies featuring expert
presentations by academic, policy research and media specialists drawn from all
over the country.
The primary objectives of this seminar would be the sensitizing of the
present and prospective student community of the salience of International
Studies as academic choice that offers value addition in teaching, research,
media and corporate careers an avenue of challenge and motivation for
excellence in an age of pervasive globalization.
