Sociology

Established in 1961 as the Department of Social Sciencesit grew to become the Department of Sociology in 1971. The Department organizes talks by eminent personalities and sociologists for the students in "Samagama"- bringing people together. The department brings out an annual departmental magazine "Samavesh".
