UNIT 1: Types, Range and Nature of Information Resources Print and electronic ,Primary and Secondary Sources :dictionaries, encyclopaedias, yearbooks, almanacs, handbooks, bibliographies, gazetteers, abstracting and indexing periodicals, reviewing periodicals, maps and atlases, etc. Tertiary sources: Guides to reference sources, bibliography of bibliographies, directories, etc
UNIT 2: Lab work - Study of select ready reference sources and finding answers to specific queries involving different types of secondary sources
